Background:Countrywiderevised national tuberculosis control programmes,is among mega ventures, needingfeedback on practical success attheperipherallevel. Objective:Treatmentoutcome profile at medical college bases DOTs centre with simultaneousconsideration of epidemiological factors was attempted to be appraised.Method:Aretrospective  investigation  of  records  of 73  tuberculosis  patientswithout  HIV coinfection,  managedat  TB/DOTS  clinic  in  a  medical  college  in central  India  is reported. Thetreatment outcome in patients is analyzedwith reference to demographic characteristicsand disease profile in patients. Results:on-HIV tuberculosisappears to  be  satisfactorily  addressed  at  TB/DOTS care.  Malegender  was  found  to  associate  negative  trait  and  relatively  poor  outcome  than  the  female patients.  Otherstudied parameters  did  not  exhibit  influence  on  treatment success,  whatsoever. Conclusion:Findings  emphasizetheprimacyof  perspectives  left  out  consideration  in  the study. Studieson  antitubercular  therapy  outcomes  in  HIV  coinfected patients,  aswell  as  patients  not  well  tolerating  the  therapy  may  be warranted,  alongwith  better  support foradvanced laboratory investigation in problem cases
