PEER REVIEW POLICY

The Mintage journal of pharmaceutical and medical sciences follows objective and fair double-blind peer-review of the submitted for publication works and to prevent any actual or potential conflict of interests between the editorial and review personnel and the reviewed material.

The peer review of each article concentrates on objective and technical concerns to determine whether the research has been sufficiently well conceived, well executed ,and well described to justify inclusion in the scientific evidence.

MJPMS is committed to Open Access. Open access publishing is a tool to reach and get access research without financial barrier .MJPMS is committed for providing sustainable access to quality scientific research for everyone , with maintaining a high value . trustworthy author ,and reader services which enhances scientific communication and progress in the area of medical and pharmaceutical sciences. Everyone has free and unlimited access to the full text of articles published in MJPMS; manuscript are freely available without subscription charges or prize barrier .Papers are immediately released in open access format.

Ethical Guidelines for Authors Submitting Manuscripts to the MJPMS

The Authors must accept full responsibility for the content of their articles. The Members of the Editorial Board and the Publisher of the journal are not responsible for the statements and opinions expressed by the authors in their articles/write-up published in the journal.  To use the copyrighted material (Ex table, figure, etc.), the author/s must seek the permission from the Author/s and Publisher of the material and send the copy of the permission letters via e-mail to the journal Editor for records. In case, if it is not possible then do not use that material.

While submitting the paper, the author (s) must give a declaration that "the article has not been published or sent for publication elsewhere."

Authorship of the Paper

Authorship should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the reported study. All those who have made significant contributions should be listed as co-authors. Where there are others who have participated in certain substantive aspects of the research, they should be acknowledged as contributors. The corresponding author should ensure that all appropriate co-authors and no inappropriate co-authors are included on the paper and that all co-authors have seen and approved the final version of the paper and have agreed to its submission for publication with copy right letter dully signed and sent to the journal.

Plagiarism

Plagiarism is the use of others published and unpublished ideas or words or work presenting them as new and original. Self plagiarism can be overcome by proper citation of your own work. This can violates the copyright that has been assigned to the journal publishers.

The Mintage Journal of Pharmaceutical and medical sciences follows highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against any publication malpractices. All authors submitting their works to the Mintage Journal of Pharmaceutical and Medical Sciences for publication as original articles attest that the submitted works represent their authors contributions and have not been plagiarized or copied or whole or in part from other works.

Mintage Journals strongly reiterate its policy of disappointing plagiarism of all kinds. As per the quality policy MJPMS uses active plagiarism check tool and publishing article on the basis reviewer comments and after taking copy right. In case, any attempt of plagiarism is brought to Journal notice accompanied with realistic evidence, following steps would be taken:

After consulting the respective Editorial Board team, authors guilty of plagiarism will be debarred from publishing their papers in future.

Heads of the Institutes of the offending authors will be intimated of such case of plagiarism

Such incidents of plagiarism will be publicized through journal in consultation with the respective Editorial Board team.

Protection of Human Subjects and Animals in Research

When reporting experiments on human subjects, authors should indicate whether the procedures followed were in accordance with the ethical standards of the responsible committee on human experimentation (institutional and national) and with the Helsinki Declaration of 1975, as revised in 2000 (5). If doubt exists whether the research was conducted in accordance with the Helsinki Declaration, the authors must explain the rationale for their approach and demonstrate that the institutional review body explicitly approved the doubtful aspects of the study. When reporting experiments on animals, authors should indicate whether the institutional and national guide for the care and use of laboratory animals was followed.

Authors publishing results from in vivo experiments involving animals or humans should state whether due permission for conduction of these experiments was obtained, from the relevant ethics committees, in the Materials and Methods section. In addition, authors wishing to publish research work involving human studies should also send a notary verified letter of approval from the Ethics Committee or the Institutional Re

Reviewer

Confidentiality: Reviewing will be done with due respect for authors confidentiality which should not be violated during review process.

 

Standards of Review: Reviewer can place his comments or recommend to reject any article is found to be inappropriate or irrelevant in terms of the subject provided in the title of the journal or found to be having redundant data or copied data without providing proper citation.

Personal Obligation: The reviewer should not place any criticism for the author or his research work while reviewing. There should be no personal objection to the article for reviewing.

Conflict of Interest: Reviewers should not review manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest resulting from competitive, collaborative, or other relationships or connections with any of the authors, companies, or institutions connected to the papers.

Conflict of interest

When an author or the institution of the author has a relationship, financial or otherwise, with individuals or organizations that could influence the author’s work inappropriately, a conflict of interest may exist. If it exists in an article it should be mentioned clearly in the article or an attachment to it.

Ethics/Institutional Review Board Approval of Research

Ethical approval is a mandatory part of any research involving people, medical records, anonymised human tissues or live animals. Authors should submit, a statement from the research ethics committee or institutional review board indicating approval of the research if there is a need. If the study was not submitted to a research ethics committee or institutional review board, authors may need to provide documentation to prove that not seeking review for the study was in accordance with the policy of your institution.

Copyrights

Submission of a manuscript implies: that the work described has not been published before (except in the form of an abstract or as part of a published lecture, or thesis) that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere; that if and when the manuscript is accepted for publication, the authors agree to automatic transfer of the copyright to the publisher. Authors can use their publication rights freely.
